I go through huge food phases. Two weeks ago it was toast with the perfect golden ratio of butter to strawberry jam, and I’m just coming off eating lima beans with parmesan cheese every day. Now, I’ve moved onto crepes. Perfect, thin, golden, soft, lacy crepes, also known as the greater French cousin of pancakes. Since school on Saturday is always a bit of a bummer, crepes are the delicious answer to a breakfast to start the day right. They take about five minutes to whip up, and when paired with Kalamata olive spread, there’s absolutely nothing better in my mind. I’m sure I’ll move onto my next fad soon, but for now, I’m completely content with these little wonders.
